Our Leadership
Sandeep Chandra
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Sandeep brings years of experience in infrastructure deployment for high-end compute and data management. Since joining SDSC in 2003, Sandeep has led cross-disciplinary initiatives and now directs Sherlock's strategic vision, particularly for Cloud Computing and Big Data solutions. His expertise spans over 15 years of offering strategic guidance to federal, state, and academic institution leaders.
Winston Armstrong
CHIEF INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER
Winston is responsible for the security of a diverse computing environment that includes both health information systems and high-performance computing systems. He leads the SDSC Security Group, which monitors and investigates security incidents related to SDSC, provides guidance for security practices and policies, and makes recommendations for protecting SDSC and Sherlock resources.
Leslie Morsek
PROGRAM MANAGER
Leslie is responsible for the direction and oversight of various projects within Sherlock to ensure delivery of high-quality services that meet and exceed client objectives and achieve all business goals. She also is engaged in developing and expanding Sherlock's relationships within the University of California (UC) framework as well as academic and industry organizations outside the UC system.
